Skilix is a platform that offers a service for identifying power skills using commercial video games. Its service relies 100% on the gaming hours that the user-buyer executes for a minimum of 8 hours. The terms and conditions are governed by the following terms:
-
a. The client hereinafter refers to the adult person who contracts Skilix's power skills identification service for one or more minors. This person takes full responsibility for the use and management of the information provided by the Skilix platform for illustrative purposes to their account within the platform or via email to their registered email address.
-
b. For all legal purposes, the Skilix platform is governed by the data treatment and privacy policies in effect in the state of Florida, USA.
-
c. To activate the Skilix service, the client must register on the platform with the necessary identification data, select the service, include the Steam User ID with the open profile of the evaluated (minor), and make the respective payment. The absence of any of these details immediately invalidates the registration process.
-
d. Once activated, the Skilix platform offers the service of identifying behaviors resulting from the interactions of the evaluated individuals with the selected video games. It is the client's complete responsibility to ensure that the evaluated individual meets the requirements needed to capture gaming data:
- d.1. Have an active account on the Steam platform and share their User ID in the Skilix registration form.
- d.2. Keep their account profile public for the duration of the contracted Skilix service.
- d.3. Play for the contracted period a minimum of 8 hours to generate valid information.
- d.4. Keep in mind that the longer the gaming time, the more information is captured by the Skilix platform, allowing for more comprehensive reports on the evaluated individual.
- d.5. The contracted periods are not frozen, extended, or exchanged after the service is activated.
-
d.6. Cancellation or modification of the service may only be presented when:
- d.6.1. An error has occurred in the registration format and is reported to Skilix within 24 hours after the purchase process.
- d.6.2. A change in the contracted package is requested within 24 hours after contracting the service.
- d.6.3. It is identified through legal representation documents that the client does not have a close relationship, authorization, or good intent in making the purchase.
-
e. The data identification service of Skilix comes exclusively from interactions within the selected video games and based on the customization choices of the service.
-
f. Data will only be collected from the selected video games in the registration platform. Any other title will not be part of the contracted service model.
-
g. Skilix has no relationship with the STEAM platform.
-
h. The money-back policy is governed by the following clauses:
- h.1. When the client does not receive the contracted report within a 90-calendar-day period.
- h.2. When the client, despite having met all the requirements of section d, does not receive information, communication, or service from the Skilix platform within 30 days after contracting the service.
- h.3. When the final report corresponds to a person other than the one registered by the client and no adjustment is made within 30 days after the completion of the contracted service.
-
i. Service exceptions:
- i.1. Clients who do not meet the minimum required time of 8 hours will receive a reduced report due to lack of information but aligned to the fulfillment of the contracted service, releasing Skilix from any claims associated with the type of report delivered.
- i.2. Clients who contract Skilix services for periods longer than 1 month may find similar or identical reports. This does not represent a mistake or poor service provision per se, as the platform records behaviors that occur directly within a video game, and these reactions may be similar or identical.
- i.3. Lack of skill or ability to interact with a video game does not invalidate the service. Skilix measures the type of reaction and not the player's skill within a particular video game.
-
j. The information contained in the contracted reports is standard, and we do not offer personalized data or differentiated report management services.
-
k. Skilix does not provide interpretations, recommendations, or suggestions for vocational, psychological, medical, or therapeutic purposes of any kind. Skilix represents data that interprets behaviors directly generated by the evaluated individual within a video game.
